Ben's 15 Minutes of Fame (that we will be reminded of forever!!)

It was discovered, after Ben graduated from Rice, that a picture of him taken during a game had been put on the side of a news van in Houston. This was several years ago. Well, a few weeks ago we were in Houston with several friends to watch the Cubbies vs Astros. As we were walking to the stadium and there it was...........that same news van with Ben's picture still on it! Of course, he had a new audience of people who had never seen it so he got to show off a bit (I know, hard to imagine). I thought I would post it because he is so proud of it. Enjoy!!!

First Weekly Doctor's Visit

On Tuesday was my first weekly doctor's appointment. I was very excited about this because it means we are getting closer to Easton's birthday! His heartbeat sounded really strong and good. Dr. Friedrich said that he was positioned correctly and now all we have to do is wait for him to decide to join us! I am still feeling good, but Ben and I are both getting very anxious. I don't know if I can say the same for T-Bone, though! He just looks around at all the new baby stuff and sniffs, not knowing what to think. Ben is finally home from all his travels and will be here for the duration. Hopefully, I will have more good news next week!

Easton's First Baby Shower

On August 15th, my sweet co-workers gave "us" our first Baby Shower for Easton. It was a great time...great gifts, great cake, and most importantly, great company!! Easton got some the cutest outfits and blankets..............plus some diapers and bottles and gift cards that we are very grateful for!!
