6 Months going on 6 years!!!

I'm baaaaaaaack!!!! So, I am about 6 1/2 months old now and on a roll! I weighed 18 lbs and was 27 inches long at my checkup. I can sit up all by myself for a long, long time (unless T-Bone runs by and I try to catch him!) I LOVE my Jumperoo. It is so much fun. Now, even when I am not in it, I act like I am, just bouncing all over the place. I am eating EVERYTHING I can get my hands on.....most is not fit to eat!! I eat all kinds of babyfood and like all of it, well, except maybe the green peas. I think Mommy is tricking me though. When it is "pea" night, she will also give me some sweet potatoes (my fave). She gives me a spoon of potatoes then a spoon of peas. I let her get by with this.....you don't want to bite the hand that feeds you, right? I like ice cream too. This is usually a treat I enjoy with Daddy. He gives me a bite, then T-Bone, and then himself. I get a little upset when the spoon is not coming towards my mouth, but to someone else's. Mommy and Daddy have both started saying this "NO" word. What is that about? Did they change my name or something? They are usually pretty serious when they say it, so I better make it a point to figure it out. Oh, did I mention that I am also "creeping." That is what happens before you crawl. I just need to work on my coordination and get my arms and legs going together. I think Mommy and Daddy are nervous about my newfound locomotion, but, hey, I have to grow up sometime! Here are a few pics that Mommy has taken of me. Everyone says that I look like my Daddy. All I know to say is that he is a lucky man if he looks like me!!!

Oh, and everyone remember to be saying a prayer for Aunt Kiki and Uncle Deuce! My first baby cousin, Hudsyn Rose, is due April 4th (we hope)! Aunt Kiki is soooooooo ready. She has been cleaning all over the place trying to make that baby come to see us! I will keep you all posted on this. I cannot wait to have someone to play with......I see lots of fun times coming my way. Daddy says I will spend the first few years thinking that girls are smelly and gross, but then, all of a sudden, they will start looking cute and I will be so happy to have a girl cousin my age (especially when she has her friends over to spend the night!!!) Mommy just says that she is not even ready to think about that!!

Shout out to the grandparents!!!! One more thing before the pics....Mommy and Daddy went to Shreveport Saturday for a "date night". They stayed the night, so I got to stay with both sets of grandparents. Busia and Fred took care of me Saturday afternoon and then Poppie and Saz picked me up Saturday evening and spent the night with me. I was good, but decided I better not be perfect, so I tested them a bit, but they hung in there and still answer the phone when Mommy calls them. Busia even called Sunday afternoon and said that she wanted to experiment taking me with her to Wal-Mart. Of course, Mommy said okay and off we went. Busia did great! Daddy keeps telling me that I am supposed to have a fit everytime Mommy takes me to Wal-Mart, but I don't know if I am that brave just yet. Thanks, Poppie, Saz, Fred, and Busia for spoiling me! I love yall very much and look forward to more spoiling in the future!

This is our morning routine: Mom gets up and makes my bottle. After I suck that down in record time, off to the table for some real food like cinnamon raisin granola or bananas. Once I scarf that down, Mommy fills my highchair tray up with tupperware and plastic spoons and the fun begins!! I like to throw it around, stick it in my mouth, bang it a little while I watch a little TV, usually Handy Manny or the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. If I get up early enough, I prefer the Backyardigans.
Obviously, I am too big for the kitchen sink now, so Mommy and Daddy bought me this cool duck tub. If you squeeze the beak, he quacks!!! I have always liked to take a bath, and especially now that I have a rubber ducky!

Beware of the UV rays!!! I know.....I'm cool!

Me in my Jumperoo! Check out the new additions to my bottom gums! Aren't my new teeth cute!! Oh, and the shirt...Poppie says that Trouble is not my middle name....He says it is my FIRST name!

Busia (Mickey) got me this cool puzzle with farm animals. It looks like Old McDonald's farm like Mommy sings about all the time. I really like the pig sound!!

I am trying to give Uncle Deuce some practice and teach him a little something!

Okay, so Mommy promises that she bought this from the BOYS section of The Moppet Shop, but Daddy says that there is no way!!! I wore this to church and I was wondering why Mommy was in such a hurry to dress me and get me out the door before Daddy could get a good look at me. She did give me a mohawk hair style, but I still got called a "beautiful baby girl" three times once we got to church. Luckily, I will not remember this traumatic event!

Mommy says that everything about it me is her favorite thing, but her FAVORITE favorite thing to do is to see me wake up in the morning. I like mornings and am so happy to see a new day. By the way, I am not cross-eyed. A camera flash first thing in the morning can be a bit harsh on my young eyes!!!

Daddy thought this was cute!

Mommy took me for a walk. It was a bit chilly and windy outside, so I had to bundle up a bit! I like going on walks, but I am ready to be more of a participant in the whole walking part instead of having to ride!

Just saying HI!

Hey there, everyone!!! Today, it was finally warm enough that we could spend some time outside. I hung out and caught some rays while Mommy planted some tomato plants. Aunt Kiki bought me these cool shades in several different colors. Mommy does not let me wear them except for photo ops, but I think I sport them quite well. What do ya think? Anyway, I just love being outside and I am so ready for the warm weather.

Not much has been going here. We are all anxiously awaiting the arrival of my first cousin, Hudsyn Rose. Uncle Deuce and Aunt KiKi are very ready for her to make her arrival. She is supposed to arrive on April 4th. I can't wait!!! Mommy and I went took Daddy to Dallas on Sunday. He had some meetings there on Monday and then was flying to Chicago, then to Las Vegas, and then overseas for a couple of weeks. Daddy wanted us to take him to Dallas so he could be with us one last night before he had to be out for a while. Mommy and Daddy both said that I was a trooper. I rode well, slept well and even had mercy on Mommy when she had that long drive back to Center by herself with me. I decided to have a little fit the last 5 minutes because I wanted Mommy to remember I was back there and to not forget to get me out of the car. I am getting good at keeping myself occupied when necessary. And I really like watching the Backyardigans when I have to ride in the car for a long way. It passes the time. It was fun to stay with Daddy at the hotel. We sat on the couch and I helped him with some emails (By the way, Dad, your invoice is in the mail!) Anyway, that is about all for now. Enjoy the pics!!

Well, as you can see, I am still really enjoying this whole "real" food thing. I like to eat it, but wearing isn't that bad either! I have learned this new trick. If there is any delay in the spoon getting to my mouth, I just scream....really loud. It is so cool and I really like doing it even if things are going well. I usually like to wait until there are several people around. More people=more attention.

"What? What do you mean the sweet potatoes are gone? Not looking good, Mommy."

My best bud, T-Bone, and I catching a few z's before we continue our day.
This is my "interrogation" look. Are ya scared?

Today, Fred came by and took Mommy and I on the Prowler. All the pups (Cabo, Bella, Hershey, Max, & Scappy) also went. If you wondering where T-Bone was, well, for some reason he thinks the Prowler is a big monster. He barks like crazy at it and runs after it trying to bite the tires. Mommy and Daddy have both tried to take him for rides, but he just becomes crazy and will hardly even ride the Prowler, even if he is held. Don't know what all that is about, but it just works out better to leave him inside and close the curtains so he does not get all worked up. As for me, I LOVE riding the Prowler. It makes me sort of sleepy, but don't worry, I fight it off! It was a fun time. Mommy forgot to take pics of me while I was riding, but she did take some afterwards. She thinks I look cute in a boggin, so naturally I ham it up! Anything to make Mommy happy........

Me, in my favorite outfit.........nothing but a diaper!!
This pic is especially for my Daddy, who is currently in Las Vegas, but will be heading overseas again on Friday! We miss you , Daddy and cannot wait for you to get home!
