Hey everyone!! Once again, I have not been keeping up to my end of the deal of posting often. I have been way to busy making sure that mom, dad, and everyone else who loves me are on their toes................they are getting there!! Let's see, since last time there has been a lot going on. First of all, I am glad to report that Mommy went back to the baby doctor. She had more of those pictures done and I was relieved to see she is having a human baby and not a piggy...the curly tail has disappeared. You could see the hands and feet this time..........close call. She is trying to figure out a way to post some pics of the ultrasound, so we will keep you posted. Oh yes and it's a GIRL!!! I am excited to have a sister, I think! I pat (or hit) mommy's tummy and say "baby". I am trying to be nice by let her know whose boss around here!
I AM ONE NOW!!! Mommy and Daddy still call me a baby, but technically I am a toddler. I had a super fun birthday party with a big water slide, thanks to Greg and Na Na. I got to play in the water, slide, open new toys, and eat my very own cake and make a big mess. My friends and family were there to celebrate with me. We had a blast! Too bad those only come around once a year.
I am now walking EVERYWHERE. No carrying allowed! If the door is open, I am gone. It does not matter if I am barefooted with just a diaper on....I head out. I am wondering something...I know that I have not been around long, but is there a word that means the opposite of NO and if so, can someone tell me what it is? It seems like everytime I reach for something or open something or try to pull on something I hear, "No, sir!" Oh well, I guess wisdom will come. I talk all the time and I am starting to repeat parts of words that I hear. I think this makes Mommy a little nervous. I have three and a half teeth on the bottom. On the top, I have four.........two that are just barely peeking through. BUT I can eat like I have a mouth full of teeth. I decided at about 10 1/2 months that I did not need the bottle anymore. Sippee cups are just so much better. Oh, and no more "food from the jar." Whatever mommy and daddy can eat, I eat and boy, I love to eat. Mommy says that I am worse than a puppy dog about begging for food. Oh, and mom has turned my crib into a day bed that is low to the ground, thinking that maybe this will make me sleep in my own bed. It is way more fun than being trapped in the crib and I can even get off the bed all by myself. It is a process, but I know just what to do. Now, whether I will start sleeping in this bed full-time or not is a whole other story.....I will keep you posted! I should probably do the polite thing and keep it nice and new for my baby sister because there is not room for her in MY king size bed with Mommy and Daddy.
